The popular VR action game is gradually getting mods. A fan-made modification has recently been released, comparable in quality to the official DLCs.
The Re-Education mod was created by graphic designer Nathaniel Grove, better known as Polygrove. In the modification, the player will again take control of the heroine Alyx Vanks. A short episode (the passage will take no more than an hour) contains a hike through an abandoned school. According to the plot, Alyx will have to get off the hijacked train on her way to the outskirts of City 17, since there is an Alliance barrier on the way of the train. Inside the building of the former educational institution, the heroine will need to interact with the environment, and she will also meet several opponents.
The modification received excellent graphics that emphasize the color of the location, as well as suitable voices for the voice acting of the heroes, although these are not the original voices. The add-on is available on the Steam Workshop.
