The new operating system will be called MIOS. The current firmware version is V0.85.22.11.05 alpha, according to the image. By the numbers, we can judge that this test assembly dates back to November 5 last year. The status bar at the top of the screenshot shows network indicators, internet connection speeds, Bluetooth icons, Wi-Fi connections, and battery life. At the bottom is a key with an inscription in Chinese with the translation "Check for updates".

Technical information about the new operating system from Xiaomi has not yet been disclosed. It is not known whether this will be a new OS or just a fresh shell. There has been no official announcement from the vendor yet.
