The creator of the cult series of books about the adventures of Geralt of Rivia Andrzej Sapkowski came to the creators of the game series of the same name. Previously, the writer had a conflict with CD Projekt Red in terms of finances, but apparently the parties came to a reconciliation.
The author's visit took place last week. Sapkowski talked to the staff and gave autographs. He also signed the portrait with his image. CD Projekt Red hopes that Sapkowski will visit the judge again in the future.
The history of conflict relations between the writer and game developers started in 2002. Then Sapkowski gave away the rights to The Witcher and refused a possible profit from sales, because he did not believe in the success of the title. But the studio managed to make the game popular, and from that moment on, Sapkowski was cool about the RPG franchise and its creators.
