The game about Gollum from the Lord of the Rings received a release date

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum also got a gameplay video.



The game in the setting of the legendary universe of Tolkien will tell about the misadventures of Gollum, one of the most curious characters in Middle-earth. Previously, the plot about the hero, who was previously a hobbit, but then became a victim of the Ring of Omnipotence, did not appear anywhere. The genre of the game will be an adventure stealth action.

The release of the project will take place on May 25 - this is earlier than previously stated by the developers of the Daedalic Entertainment studio and the publisher Nacon. On the occasion of the announcement, the authors posted a trailer that tells about the plot of the story. It has both cut-scenes and gameplay itself.

Some time after the announcement, the creators of the title held a 30-minute broadcast on Twitch, where most of it was devoted to the main character, who moved around various locations.



Initially, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will arrive on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S. A little later, the title will come to the Nintendo Switch.
