Statistics are calculated for the last year. There are a couple of interesting details in the report from analysts at Statcounter.
As before, the leadership among the versions of Windows OS on the market is retained by "Ten". Win 10 accounts for 73.48% of the volume, while over the past month the figure has even grown slightly. The 2nd line of the rating is occupied by Windows 11 with a volume of 20.94%. Judging by the graph, it can be understood that the popularity of the newest version is slowly but still growing.
Windows 7, on the contrary, is rapidly losing ground: in December 2022, it had an indicator of 11.2%, while now its market share has almost quadrupled to 3.73%. This decline can be explained by the end of support for the system by Microsoft. Valve's statement could also have influenced this: the company announced that the Steam client would soon cease to function normally on older versions of the OS. The rest of Windows scored insignificant fractions of a percent in the rating.
