A video of the incredible rescue of the Church of Santiago Apostol de Villamorón has been posted to the official Minecraft YouTube channel.

Spanish enthusiasts Gabriel and Nora have been recreating various architectural structures in Minecraft for a long time. The history of the restoration of the church began with the fact that one of the inhabitants of the village where the building is located asked the couple to reproduce an in-game copy of the monument. In reality, the building was in a deplorable state, so in this way it was planned to attract attention and collect 15-25 thousand euros for restoration. As a result, a video showing a virtual copy spread across many thematic YouTube channels and even got on Spanish TV. As a result, thousands of people learned about the abandoned building, and more than 30 thousand euros were collected for the restoration.
