A CG action movie called Resident Evil: Death Island will see the light of day very soon. It is a sequel to the feature film subtitled Vendetta and the miniseries Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness.
The trailer for the sci-fi CG action features five of the franchise's iconic characters: Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire and Rebecca. At one point, they all fall into one frame together. The presence of all these characters at once is one of the main advantages of the film. According to the plot, the characters have to go to the famous Alcatraz prison, which hides another threat associated with the virus and mutants.
Death Island belongs to the same universe as the video games in the series. The director of the tape was Eiichiro Hasumi, who had a hand in the aforementioned series Infinite Darkness. Makoto Fukami, who wrote the text for the also mentioned film Vendetta, is responsible for the script.
