Twisted Metal film adaptation poster released
A teaser trailer for the upcoming series is also due out soon. UPD: the teaser is already out and it looks spectacular.
The latest promo features Anthony Mackie, best known for playing the Falcon and more recently Captain America, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to the plot, a chatty loser will have a chance for a better life, and in order to achieve the goal, the character will have to transport some cargo through the apocalyptic wasteland. Maki will be joined by Stephanie Beatriz, best known for her role in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Crazy killer clown Sweet Tooth will be played by wrestler Samoa Joe and will speak in the voice of Will Arnett (Lego: The Movie).
Twisted Metal is an action comedy in the vein of Deadpool and Welcome to Zombieland. On the screen you can see a huge number of cars in post-apocalyptic locations. The series has 10 episodes in total. The release will take place on Peacock streaming on July 27th.
