The multiplayer role playing game will be released by Amazon. The company once intended to release a game based on the famous universe and now intends to do so again.
The developer will be the studio Games Orange County, responsible for another representative of the genre - New World. That title was also released in collaboration with Amazon in 2021. The basis of the new project will be the trilogy of the original "Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" by Peter Jackson. But the recently released series will not be included in the basis of the universe.
The next game based on the world of Tolkien will be released on May 27 - it's The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
