The people depicted on the official cover of Counter-Strike 1.6 became known

Who is hiding behind the masks of the special forces soldiers was not known for many years, but the fans revealed the truth.

It turns out that the characters from the poster and the main menu of the cult multiplayer shooter were embodied by the creators of CS 1.6 Dave Riller and John Guthrie from the Valve studio. The exposure was posted by user Striking-Elk3173.



Prior to this, real prototypes of fighters under balaclavas were reported in the @GoosemanCS account, owned by the developer Minh Le, one of the authors of the Half-Life CS modification. Also then it became known that the patch on the outfit is a fictional designer.
