At the moment, the studio is working on the release of the film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy's with Josh Hutcherson, an adaptation of the famous game series about killer robots. The company is counting on the success of the film.
In turn, James Wan considers himself a "big gamer". Speaking about the director, Bloom notes that Wang is constantly looking for video games that could be remade into horror films and released to cinemas and streaming screens. It is known that Blumhouse is busy developing a film adaptation of Day by Daylight.
In addition, Blumhouse recently opened Blumhouse Games, which will develop original horror games for consoles, PCs and mobile devices. The division has not yet announced any projects.
