The studio will team up with toy maker Hasbro to develop a film adaptation of the famous board game.

So far, there are no details about the project. Lionsgate has previously submitted a board game to development in 2019. Comedian Kevin Hart (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle) was supposed to appear in the film adaptation, and Tim Storey (Fantastic Four) was put in the director's chair. At some point, Sir Ridley Scott himself (Alien, Gladiator) was assigned to the production of the film.
