After the embargo was lifted, the first reviews of RoboCop: Rogue City appeared. At the time of writing the news, the game has a 70/100 on Metacritic, and 71/100 on OpenCritic. Despite the rather restrained assessments, critics reacted quite warmly to the game. Many of them noted the developers’ respect for the original source and a large number of interesting ideas.
Among the shortcomings, a boring plot and some derivativeness are noted, since the creators qualitatively showed the appearance and themes of the first two parts of the film trilogy about the Robot Policeman, but did not bring anything new. In general, it was a game from fans for fans.
