The 118-day Hollywood Actors Guild strike has come to an end, so work on many projects will resume soon.
According to Deadline, the filming of the Minecraft film adaptation should start in 2024, but in the meantime, work is underway on the construction of sets and the preparation of the film crew. In turn, the sequel to the Mortal Kombat action movie, released in 2021, will continue to film from the same place where filming ended before the strike began. This will also happen early next year.
The Minecraft film should premiere in 2025. Jason Momoa (“Aquaman”) has signed on to play the lead role. The Mortal Kombat sequel is due out by the end of 2024.
