This was done by a 13 year old boy.

Gamer Willis Gibson (nickname Blue Scuti) managed to complete the famous puzzle for the NES console. Before him, only AI had done this.

It is worth noting that you cannot complete Tetris in the usual sense of the word. You can only end the game by losing, when the field is completely filled with blocks, or the game itself freezes and makes further progress impossible. It is known that it can freeze at stage 155.

Gibson was able to reach level 157, where Tetris froze. In turn, artificial intelligence in 2021 reached level 237.

Tetris became available for the NES console in 1989. The game is one of the best-selling in the history of the industry.
