The star of the youth comedy American Pie and the recent series White Lotus Jennifer Coolidge has joined the cast of the film adaptation of Minecraft. This was reported by Deadline. Thus, she joined Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Jack Black (School of Rock, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle), Emma Myers (Wednesday), Danielle Brooks (Peacemaker) and Sebastian Eugene Hansen (Just mercy). What role Coolidge will play is still unknown.
The release of the film based on the sandbox is scheduled for April 4, 2025. The director's chair is occupied by Jared Hess (Masterminds).
