The CS2 Case Tracker website asked about Valve's earnings from cases.

Analysts estimate that Valve earned about $980 million from boxes from CS:GO and CS2, excluding commissions taken for transactions on the trading platform. In total, players opened 40,031,8821 loot boxes and used almost 360 million keys. The most popular cases are Dreams & Nightmares, Fracture and Recoil.

It also became known that Valve is systematically increasing the cost of loot boxes in accordance with inflation. Thus, the average cost of a case in 2023 increased by 178%. The price tag has increased the most for the Danger Zone loot box: it has become 492% more expensive.
