Almost ten years ago, Kojima was excommunicated from the Metal Gear franchise, and since then, under his leadership, the future courier simulator Death Stranding was created, and now the development process of the horror OD is underway. But soon he will return to the spy action genre.
At the State of Play event, the actual announcement of a new project called PHYSINT from the master of the gaming industry took place. Kojima said that the game will be the crowning achievement of his 40-year career in the industry, and he wants to use all the latest technology and attract talent from all over the planet to develop it.
The title is currently in pre-production. The full development stage will start after the release of the second part of Death Stranding in 2025.
