Counter-Strike 2 may get modes found in previous CS games
The user discovered a mention of modes in the game code.
The author of the TG channel Gabe Follower found 2 lines in the Counter-Strike code hinting at the appearance of three modes in the game. So, Global Offensive had the “Danger Zone” mode, and now it can return under the name Survival.
In addition, VIP (Assassination) and Escape modes may return to the game. They were present in 1999's Counter-Strike and 2004's Condition Zero. In the first mode, the counter-terrorist squad needs to take the VIP players to the evacuation site, while the terrorists must attack them. At the same time, it is fashionable for players to buy not all weapons.
In Escape mode, terrorists must leave the crime scene, and a special forces team must prevent this. Terrorists cannot purchase weapons - they are scattered around the map.
