Ubisoft won't invest in VR because of Assassin's Creed Nexus

The company was not satisfied with the game's sales volumes. The project was released last fall.



Ubisoft released its report for the 3rd quarter of fiscal year 2024. According to information from it, AC Nexus did not bring the desired revenue. Therefore, the publisher will not invest more money in VR titles and will wait for improvements in virtual reality technology, as announced by Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.



Interestingly, Ubisoft closed production of Splinter Cell VR in 2022.
