Rumors: a new DOOM part is in development

The Verge reporter Tom Warren reported that id Software is developing a new part of the DOOM shooter series, and Microsoft will release the game on all platforms, not just Xbox. The code name of the project is DOOM Year Zero. DLC is also being prepared for the title.
The game's development was first reported last September. The last part of the DOOM Eternal series was released in 2020: the shooter was released on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and Nintendo Switch.
