SEGA presented the animated film “Angry Birds The Movie 3”. The project will be created in collaboration with Prime Focus Studios and Rovio. Jason Sudeikis (“Ted Lasso”) and Josh Gad (“Beauty and the Beast”) will once again provide the voices for the characters of Red and Chuck.
The production process of the project has already started. Director John Rice sat in the director's chair of the project, and the script was written by Thurop Van Orman, who was involved in the script for the sequel.
The release date for the third part is still unknown. There are no plot details for the film yet. The original cartoon was released in 2016 and grossed $352 million against a production budget of $73 million. The sequel was released in 2019 and was less successful: with a budget of $65 million, it managed to earn $154 million worldwide.
