A remake of the cult adventure action game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been announced

The approximate release date of the game was announced at the Ubisoft Forward presentation.



Ubisoft showed a teaser trailer for the title, which reports that the project will be released in 2026. Initially, the game was announced back in 2020, and the release was scheduled for 2021, but later the date was moved, and then they decided to completely remake the remake.



The new version of The Sands of Time will receive updated visuals, plot, gameplay mechanics of battles and parkour. There will also be improved animations of the characters' faces and other elements. The title is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto.
