GTA 5 launched on Android with frame rates over 30 FPS
For this purpose, a gaming smartphone was used.
The author of the YouTube channel Dame Tech posted a video showing how GTA 5 behaves on Android. For this, we used the ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro with an 8-core flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM.
The video shows the gameplay for Franklin. The title operated at a resolution of 1600x720, and the average frame rate was 40-50 FPS in the city and 50-60 FPS in suburban locations. The maximum frame rate reached 60-70 FPS, but in action scenes the figure dropped to 30 FPS.
Regarding the battery and temperature, the smartphone did not perform very well. A fully charged battery will run out within an hour of play, and the maximum temperature was +47 degrees.
