An ex-Rockstar employee spoke about the reasons for the cancellation of the Trevor add-on for GTA 5
In the unreleased DLC, the anti-hero was supposed to work for the FBI.
Ex-Rockstar Games employee Joe Robinson said that the DLC about the adventures of Trevor, who was supposed to work for the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, was 50% ready. But after the release of GTA Online, the studio decided not to spend money on the expansion and focus on the game’s multiplayer.
Information that a DLC was in development was already circulating on the Internet. This was mentioned in the game files, and the actors who took part in the development of the project also spoke about it. Some developments were subsequently added to GTA Online.
