The Max streaming service has posted a video showing excerpts from several series that are scheduled to be released in 2024-25. It also features a teaser for Season 2 of The Last of Us, which features old characters (Joel, Ellie, and Tommy played by Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, and Gabriel Luna), as well as new characters (Dina, Abby, and Isaac played by Isabella Merced, Kaitlyn Dever, and Jeffrey Wright).
The second season will have eight episodes. The creators of the show intend to stretch the plot of The Last of Us sequel over three seasons and include several scenes that were not present in the game.
