Rumor: Rockstar Developing Custom Mod Editor for GTA Online and GTA 6

According to insiders, Rockstar is developing ROME (Rockstar Online Modding Tools) – a tool for editing user mods. This was reported by the developers of the FiveM server for GTA Online. Earlier, this team was hired by Rockstar, and a little later the head and a number of employees were fired.
The former head of the FiveM project said that Rockstar intends to add tools for developing mods to the game and ensure their compatibility with consoles. ROME testing should take place in the fall of 2024 in GTA 5. It will be fully added to GTA 6 with expanded functionality.
