Before the event, GSC Game World began releasing various materials about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2. Thus, screenshots were released from the Beginners' Village, where players will apparently begin their playthrough. The location has already been compared online with the area from the original trilogy.
The location has not undergone any major changes - the most noticeable was the movement of the bus. Also, for obvious reasons, the visuals have been improved.
