The release in the rest of Asia and Europe is expected to take place in Q1 2025. The official announcement may take place at the CES exhibition in January or at the MWC event in February. Other details have not yet been disclosed. Currently, the smartphone costs 19,999 yuan (which is equal to $2,835 or €2,550) in China. The cost outside of China is also still unknown.
HUAWEI Mate XT is a folding smartphone with three sections. When folded, it has a diagonal of 6.4 ", while when unfolded, the user gets a display with a diagonal of 10.2". The hardware platform of the device is the Kirin 9010 chipset with 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. Even when folded, the device has a thin body thanks to a 1.9 mm thick battery. Another feature of the smartphone is a telephoto lens with 5.5x optical zoom.
