The developers of the recently released shooter joined the strike of several studios protesting the need to work in the office.
The protest was attended by 30 employees from the quality control department. They are protesting against Activision's policy, which in January forced employees to work from the office, and not remotely or in a hybrid version. The employees believe that the company is thus harming employees with health problems and disabilities.
As a result, on October 25, with the support of the Communications Workers of America (CWA), the authors of Black Ops 6 went to a small demonstration. It is noted that this event is not a full-fledged strike. Several Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II developers also took part in the demonstration. Activision did not stand aside: they acknowledged the existence of the problem, but did not offer ways to solve it.
