Feral Interactive has released a mobile version of the Total War: Empire strategy game, which is now available on iOS and Android devices. The game originally debuted on PC in 2009 and became the fifth installment of the cult franchise. It received a high rating on Metacritic — 90 out of 100 from critics and 7.6 out of 10 from users.
The mobile adaptation retained the essence of the original game, but was fully optimized for touch controls. The developers redesigned the interface and gameplay mechanics to make control convenient on smartphones and tablets. Players will be able to immerse themselves in epic battles on land and at sea, switching between turn-based strategic planning and real-time battles.
The action of Total War: Empire takes place in the turbulent era of the 18th century. Gamers will have to develop their state, expand their influence and fight for dominance in Europe, North Africa, America, the Middle East and India.
