The line of smartphones of the Motorola brand has been replenished with the new Edge 20 Pro model. This device boasts an excellent screen, impressive hardware and a high-quality camera with five times zoom. In addition to the professional version, the younger one was also presented: it retained many of the technical characteristics of its older brother, but it costs much less.
Edge 20 Pro features a large, 144Hz 6.7 "OLED display with 576Hz sampling for improved touch accuracy for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
The smartphone is powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip with 8 cores. The amount of RAM and internal memory is 12 and 256 GB. Power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery. Includes a 30W fast charging adapter.
The main camera module consists of three lenses: a 108 megapixel main lens, an auxiliary zoom lens and a "wide" lens with macro shooting capability. Video recording here can be done in quality up to 8K.
Other interesting characteristics of the smartphone are support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 standard, protection against water and dust IP52, a fingerprint scanner right in the display. The operating system here is Android 11. In addition to charging, the kit includes an adapter from USB-C to Audio Jack and a simple silicone case for the first time.
The junior version of the flagship has the following differences: the absence of a periscopic lens on the zoom module, three times optical zoom instead of five times, reducing the maximum video quality to 4K.
The processor on the Edge 20 is also different, with the Snapdragon 778G installed. The battery capacity is also reduced, it is 4000 mAh. The novelty will be available in two memory options: 8 + 128 and 8 + 256 GB.
The cost of the models will be from 699 € for the older one and from 499 € for the younger one. Sales will start in the next few weeks.
