Bloomberg columnist Mark Gourmet shared information about the planned new gadgets from Apple, which will be presented in the fall, and about some innovations for users of Apple products.
The most anticipated new additions will be the iPhone 13, which could mark a kind of transition from the base line to the S-series. The main innovations of the devices will be screens with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, new Apple A15 Bionic chipsets, ProRes video mode with an option to blur the background. Smartphones may also support the Always-on Display option.
Together with smartphones, the company may present the AirPods 3 headset. The gadget's appearance will be carried out on the Pro line. Also, the earbuds will have an increase in ergonomics and a decrease in the length of the leg. These design features will be the most significant for a headset since the first model was released five years ago.
Another device, which may be shown in September, will be the Apple Watch Series 7. It will get a high-performance microprocessor on a compact substrate to save space inside the case, a flat display, new sensors and a battery with increased capacity. The model will also offer Apple Fitness + users new opportunities.
The September announcement can also be received for the iPad Mini 6 and iPad 9. The younger version of the device will receive a screen with reduced frames, a similar appearance to the Pro version, a USB-C connector instead of Lightning, an A15 Bionic chipset and a Touch ID fingerprint scanner integrated into the power key.
The presentation of new laptops in September, according to Gourmet, will not take place. For these devices, a separate event may be allocated, the date of which is unknown. It is assumed that the new processor will receive models of the line with 14 "and 16" screens. Their release will take place no earlier than the 2-year anniversary of the current version of the MacBook Pro.
