IGN has launched a user poll for the best video game on their social networks. In total, the players were asked to choose from 64 titles, voting takes place in the playoff format.
At the moment, there are only 16 games left in the competition, which managed to defeat the opponent in a pair. In most cases, one of the projects had an overwhelming advantage, for example, the action game God of War received 90% of the respondents' votes against the StarCraft strategy. There were also more intense battles: for example, in the struggle between Half-Life 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, the second project unexpectedly won with a result of 48% to 52%.
The completion of the third round is scheduled for September 20. Such iconic games as GTA: SA and V, The Witcher 3, Minecraft, COD4: MW, Fallout: New Vegas, The Last of Us, World of Warcraft and others remained in the vote. The poll will be summed up on September 29th.
