The Swedish company ABB, specializing in technologies in the field of electrical engineering, power supply and other related industries, begins commercial production of high-speed charging stations for electric cars Terra 360. The devices will receive a maximum power of 360 kW, which will make it possible to charge the car battery in just a quarter of an hour and add 100 kilometers run in 3 minutes.
The station will have a modular design that will power up to four vehicles at a time. At maximum load, the average charging time for each car will increase to 30-40 minutes. Also, this solution will be an excellent option for business clients with a fleet of electric vehicles (delivery, taxi, car rental service).
The charging station will be equipped with an LED indicator of operating modes, a panel with information about the current charging power, the state of the battery of the electric vehicle and the time until the end of the charge. An additional option will be a display with a diagonal of 27 ", on which you can display useful information or advertisements.
In Europe, stations will appear at the end of 2021, while in Asia, Latin America and the United States, the novelty is expected in 2022.
