The shortage of video cards still prevents many PC gamers from upgrading hardware at an adequate cost. Sometimes it comes to dramatic situations: for example, the other day in Warsaw, users had to spend the night on the street in order to be in time for the store opening and purchase a GeForce RTX 3060 at the recommended retail price.
The Media Expert digital marketplace decided to hold an RTX Day, a promotion in which it was supposed to sell four hundred partner GeForce RTX 3060 and GeForce RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards from ASUS and GIGABYTE in one day at the recommended price. By 00:00, about one and a half hundred people came to the store, who had to spend the night near the door in order to snatch the coveted device.
At four in the morning the store was already crowded with almost four hundred people - just so many video cards were sold. However, not everyone managed to get what they wanted, since the market put more than one video card into their hands. Therefore, many could not get what they wanted and wasted time.
