Google Tensor graphics can compete with Snapdragon 888
The newly minted owners of the sixth generation of Pixel smartphones began to share the results of the Tensor chip. Earlier, at the presentation of devices, Google compared the capabilities of the processor with the far from the top-end Snapdragon 765G, which caused some skepticism among users. However, the latest information on the operation of the chipset says that it can compete with flagship solutions from other manufacturers.

So, one of the owners of Pixel 6 posted the results of the processor in the 3DMark program, which determines the graphics potential. In standard Wild Life testing, the device scored 6666 points with an average of 39.9 fps, and in Extreme mode scored 2028 points with 12.8 fps.

The Wild Life Extreme test results for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on Snapdragon 888 are 1494 points at 8.9 fps, and with the Exynos 2100 processor - 1793 points at 10.7 frames per second. HUAWEI Mate 40 Pro with Kirin 9000 achieved 2004 points (12 fps). Based on these results, Tensor outperforms all major competitors in this testing.

A twenty-minute diagnostic Wild Life Extreme Stress Test for a smartphone from Google was carried out, as a result of which the best indicator was 2129 points, and the worst - 1193. The stability of the work was at the level of only 56%. In almost a ten-minute period of time, the maximum working efficiency of the video accelerator due to throttling dropped almost twice.

According to known data, Tensor has a pair of highly efficient Cortex-X1 cores, a pair of efficient Cortex-A76 and four efficient Cortex-55. The graphic component in it lies on the shoulders of the accelerator for twenty cores. It is worth noting that benchmarks are 100% indicators of real performance inherent in devices in the process of performing everyday tasks.
