Police officers kicked out of duty for playing Pokemon GO during working hours

Two Los Angeles patrol cops fired over Pokemon GO. While on call of duty, they ignored the robbery call and went off to hunt down the Pokémon.



The situation itself happened back in 2017. With the hapless cops, the video recorder, which captured the discussion of the game, played a cruel joke. After the partners were stripped of their badges and kicked out of service. Former police officers tried to challenge the decision of the authorities, but four years later the court confirmed the legality of the dismissal. The court also rejected a subsequent appeal, and now Pokemon lovers will not be able to return to their previous place of work.
