Windows 11 will get a useful macOS feature
Competing operating systems often resort to copying various functions from each other. And now Windows 11 will get a tool familiar from macOS.
A function called Peek will allow you to instantly familiarize yourself with the contents of the file selected in Explorer, for which you will need to use the Shift + Space key combination. A similar tool, Quick Look, has been on macOS for a long time, but it has more impressive functionality. So, with its help, you can scale the image during viewing, edit it and send it to other gadgets.
The Peek function can already be used in the test version of the PowerToys utility. The tool will become handy for quickly checking files with similar names. Presumably Peek will be exclusive to the new Windows. When the function will be added to the official assembly, it is not reported.
