Apple's new online store has over two hundred parts to choose from, including displays, batteries, camera modules, and more. There are also tool kits for servicing the iPhone 12, 13, and new SE lines. To replace components, the user should read the manual. In addition to purchasing a set of tools on a permanent basis, there is an option to rent them for a week for $49 with free shipping.

According to Apple, all available parts will have the same quality and cost as in authorized service centers. This repair program is currently only available in the United States, but will be available in several other regions before the end of the year, but the exact list of countries is not yet known.

In addition, Apple intends to launch a similar program for self-repair of Mac computers with proprietary chips. Also on the company's website posted a document called "Expanding Access to Reliable and Safe Maintenance and Repair", which describes in detail Apple's approach to creating durable products.
