Specialists of the AdDuplex analytics service shared statistics on the distribution of various versions of Windows OS over the past month. From the data above, the latest Windows is having a hard time attracting users.
The experts found that over the past April, the share of Windows 11 in the total number of PCs with operating systems from Microsoft increased by only 0.3% and reached 19.7%. In March, the increase relative to February was a slight 0.2%. Given the statistics, we can say that users are not too inclined to switch to a new OS or purchase computers with the eleventh version of the operating system.
As before, Windows 10 21H2 remains the most common operating system from Microsoft, with a share of 35%, which is 6.5% higher than in March. Silver went to Windows 10 21H1 (26.4%). Earlier builds of Windows 10 have a share of about 18.1%, but their popularity is gradually falling due to the expiration of updates from developers.
