In the popular benchmark, a device with the latest chipset from Qualcomm lit up. Judging by the available data, the smartphone received a 120 Hz display, 18 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB UFS 3.1 flash memory. The device runs on Android 12 OS.

According to the results of testing, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor received 1118161 points, which exceeds the performance of the direct competitor Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek. The tests showed that the memory and UX parameters in the new processor are identical to those of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, however, in terms of the work of the central processor and graphics accelerator, the novelty bypasses its predecessor by 20,000-30,000 points.

Qualcomm claims that the new processor generates less heat and is 15% more energy efficient. As a result, the manufacturer managed to solve the problem of overheating in games and in multitasking mode, which was observed in 8 Gen 1.

The list of smartphones that will receive the new processor can be found here.
