Apple has patented a smart watch with a camera

The Cupertino-based company has filed a patent for a smartwatch with a new unique feature.



According to the posted documents, the developers intend to place the camera in an unusual place, namely, in the watch winder wheel. Such a design solution will save usable screen space without taking up space for the camera cutout and without making the bezels too thick. To take a photograph, the owner will only have to stretch his hand in the required direction.



The patent documentation also notes that the watch can be used as a separate camera, for which you will need to remove the strap. Unfortunately, the technical specifications of the camera and the specific smartwatch model are not listed in the document.

Apple has also filed a patent for a data processing module that can track the degree of tension on the bracelet and is able to monitor certain aspects of the health of the wearer, including blood pressure, obesity, allergic reactions, etc. At the moment, the device is not even at the initial stage of development, so its release date is unknown.
