The novelty was named Micron i400. The colossal capacity of the card is provided by 176-layer 3D NAND memory technology. In addition, the card will receive a long service life even under increased load.

Micron positions the card as an option for video surveillance devices. The company guarantees that the impressive volume will be enough for continuous video recording for 120 days. The speed parameters of the drive will allow you to save video files in 4K format and at the same time provide processing of up to eight AI events per second, for example, detect and classify objects or recognize the faces of people falling into the frame.

The resource of the new microSD card is enough for 5 years of continuous operation in 24/7 mode. The MTBF parameter is up to 2 million hours. The body of the card is protected against mechanical impact and ingress of liquids. Stable operation of the card is possible in the temperature range from -25 to +85°C.



In addition to the variant of the device with a capacity of 1.5 TB, the novelty will be available in other versions, starting from 256 GB. Release date and cost of Micron i400 are not yet known.
