We are talking about a physical “silent” mode switch, which, unfortunately for fans of the brand, has been removed from several future smartphones.
On August 3, the presentation of the new OnePlus 10T device took place. Previously, there were rumors that the device would lose the slider for turning on the silent mode, which happened. However, answering questions from the press before the event, one of the managers of OnePlus mentioned that the company may return this element to future smartphones.
The representative of the brand did not rule out that the slider will return not in physical, but in software form. He did not provide other details regarding this part of OnePlus smartphones, therefore it is not known whether the next numbered model will be equipped with a “silent” rocker.
