Ford has developed smart headlights that can project useful information

The famous automaker presented a technology by which the car gets the opportunity to project various information onto the roadway. Thus, information with road signs, directions of movement, warning signs about the speed limit may appear on the road. In addition, the headlights can be connected to satellites and security systems for the most accurate display of data.



For example, headlights will project various symbols onto the road, including an icon in the form of a snowflake warning of icing or a speed limit sign. The company is confident that the technology will reduce the number of accidents.

So far, the technology is only being tested. When it will appear in cars, Ford does not say. Presumably, first of all, it will be installed on premium cars intended for the European market.
