American physicists have developed a thermonuclear reactor capable of heating up to a billion degrees Celsius

TAE has created a hydrogen-boron fusion reactor with a colossal heating temperature. The developers claim that it is completely safe from an environmental point of view. $1.2 billion has already been invested in the project.

TAE is a pioneer in the hydrogen-boron fusion industry. This technique is a non-radioactive way to obtain carbon-free energy. The reactor was named "Copernicus", and a deserted location of 1 million m² in Irvine, California will be used for its placement.



In 2017, TAE was already working on the Norman reactor. Then he was able to leave a stable plasma at over 75 million degrees Celsius, which is 250% more than expected. The new reactor will be able to reach a temperature of a billion degrees without carbon and radionuclide emissions.
