Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro shown in live photos and videos before the official presentation
The announcement of the new generation of Pixel took place in May this year, at the same time the first renders of devices appeared. Now you can look at them "live" thanks to the author of the YouTube channel Unbox Therapy. The blogger managed to test both devices.
The appearance of the devices does not differ from the May images. The camera module began to be closer to the central vertical axis than to the corners of the case. The lenses here are glass, but the insert itself is not. The dimensions are slightly different from previous versions of smartphones: the Pixel 7 Pro is 2.7 mm narrower and 0.1 mm thinner than the Pixel 6 Pro. The standard Pixel 7 is slightly shorter than the Pixel 6, and 1.7mm smaller in width.
Different generations of devices are distinguished by end aluminum frames. On the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, they are matte and tactilely reminiscent of raw aluminum. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have glossy edges. The new devices also received more rounded corners.
In this video, it looks like the Pixel 7's top bezel is narrower than the Pixel 6's, while the bottom bezel is wider. The bezels on the Pixel 7 Pro have narrowed on the sides. The dimensions of the upper one remained the same, but the lower one became narrower.
