Several network sources posted a slide from the closed Intel event. It shows the dates of announcements of new generation chips. Apparently, the first processor of the fresh line will be provided in almost a month.
So, it will be possible to pre-order the flagship chips in the face of the Core i9 at the end of September. A little later, pre-order will become available for Core i5 and i7. The start of sales will be on October 20.
Intel's proposed plan looks like this:
• September 27 - announcement of the thirteenth generation chips and the start of pre-orders for the Core i9-13900K;
• October 13 - start of pre-orders for Core i7-13700K and i5-13600K;
• October 20 - the start of sales of new products.
In the laid out plan, only chips with support for the overlocking option appear, designed to work together with the Intel Z790 board. It is assumed that more budget motherboards and chips without the letter K in the name will become available in 2023.
