Rumor: Apple will develop technology that is already being used in smartphones on the Android platform

Cupertino patented their own reverse charging function. Probably, it will appear already in the next generation of iPhone.



The patent documentation states that the new wireless charger will be able to receive and transmit electricity. According to one of the sketches, it can be seen that in this way it will be possible to charge one smartphone from another by connecting their back covers. It will also be possible to charge smart watches Apple Watch and other devices in a similar way.

Apple has been technically working on implementing this technology since 2013. Three years later, the company patented the function of charging the iPhone from the MacBook, and last year the vendor was working on the possibility of charging a wireless headset from a smartphone or tablet. It is not yet known if the technology will appear in the future iPhone 15 line.
